Yolanda Borrás
Yolanda Borrás is a Dominican educator, author, teacher trainer and public speaker who has dedicated over 30 years of her professional life to early childhood education and educational business management.

Yolanda specializes in educational products in the Spanish language. Her teacher-training workshops are based on best practices in early childhood education. They offer insights into the history and culture of the Spanish-speaking world through authentic traditional songs, music and movement activities and educational tools to help develop the whole child through an arts integrated program.
Her products support language acquisition during early childhood. The I'm Bilingual! collection of children's music and illustrated songbooks has received more than 20 international awards. In 2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic recognized Yolanda as an outstanding Dominican from their emigrant community.
Yolanda has had academic and professional experiences in the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and the United States, allowing her to appreciate social and cultural diversity and tailor it to her educational offerings. She shares this learning with educators during workshops and presentations at national and international education conferences.

Yolanda Borrás, Founder
As the founder of I’m Bilingual! Yolanda was selected to participate in the Columbia Community Business Program at Columbia Business School's Eugene Lang Center in New York City.
She earned her Bachelor's in Music from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and her Master's in Educational Administration from Columbia University Teachers College.
A member of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in the field of education, Yolanda is affiliated with national and international professional organizations. She was a featured alumnus in the Johns Hopkins University Magazine for "Teaching music in many languages" and has been interviewed by programs affiliated with NPR and by EdLab at Columbia University Teachers College. She has also been featured in national and international publications including the New York Times.
